TikTok Shop Malaysia raises commissions for most categories on October 31
TikTok Shop's new Malaysia rate table lifts most commissions from October 31 — up to 20.52% at the top — while five essential categories get cheaper and staple foods stay at 0%.

TikTok Shop will raise commission fees for most product categories in Malaysia starting October 31, 2026, for both Marketplace and Mall sellers, PriceShop reported on October 19, citing the updated rate table. Orders placed before that date still follow current rates. It is the platform's second commission revision in just over a year, after September 13, 2025.
At the top end, non-BXP Mall sellers will pay as much as 20.52% for Fragrance, Makeup, Men's Care, Nail Care and Hand & Foot Care, up from 18.90%. For most fashion items such as women's tops and dresses, the BXP Marketplace rate rises from 10.26% to 12.74%, while the non-BXP rate goes from 14.58% to 14.91%. The biggest jump is Water Sports and Winter Sports, where the BXP Marketplace rate climbs 4.64 points, from 8.10% to 12.74%.
Five essential categories get cheaper: Feminine Care, Nasal & Oral Care, Medical Supplies, OTC Medications & Treatments, and Nursing & Feeding. Feminine Care falls from 14.58% to 12.10% for non-BXP Marketplace sellers, and Nursing & Feeding from 9.72% to 6.80%. Pantry, baking and staple foods stay at 0%, and pre-owned fashion is unchanged. TikTok frames the revision as reinvestment, with more shipping vouchers and RM250 million in seller support this year.
From the crate: TikTok, when commission rises for most of the catalogue, sellers hear the shelf getting pricier. The cuts on essentials help, but the new table is what they will price against.
