YouTube pilots Shorts bonuses for invited Partner channels
YouTube is testing a limited-time monthly bonus that pays invited Partner channels for hitting a Shorts upload target and earning engaged views.

YouTube is testing a new way to pay for short video: consistency itself. Creator Weekly reports the platform has launched a pilot for Shorts bonuses under the line “turn your consistency into monthly cash”, aimed at invited channels in the YouTube Partner Program.
The mechanics, based on screenshots shared on social media, are simple to follow. Publish a minimum number of Shorts in a month — 16 in the example shown — and a channel earns a guaranteed payout, plus extra based on its valid engaged Shorts views that month, counting organic views only. Examples indicate some bonuses could reach as much as $2,000 per month. The pilot is open to invited Partner channels in the US, UK, Germany, Brazil, Japan, and South Korea, who should check “Ideas for You” in YouTube Studio or their email.
There is no application: YouTube's own help page confirms the program is invite-only, that creators must still be monetizing at the end of the month, and that any bonus lands in the normal payment cycle. For Shorts makers, the invitation is now the gate.
From the crate: YouTube, a bonus for steady posting is welcome — keep the invite rules and the maths in plain view, so smaller channels can see exactly what consistency buys.
