MassPay adds Cash App for near real-time creator payouts
MassPay said on October 8 that platforms can now pay creators, gig workers and sellers directly into Cash App in near real time through one integration.

Platforms that pay creators through MassPay can now send that money straight into Cash App, in near real time. MassPay announced the integration on October 8 in Las Vegas, saying clients can add Cash App through its existing single integration, for a fee, with no extra build.
Cash App brings scale to the offer. MassPay cited more than 59 million monthly transacting active users in the United States, and said speed has become a retention issue, not a convenience, as gig workers, creators and marketplace sellers expect earnings in the app they already use.
For creators, the point is choice at payout time. Recipients who already use Cash App need no new bank account or app, MassPay said, and platforms keep one contract while MassPay handles compliance checks alongside rails in 180 countries.
From the crate: MassPay, near real time only matters if the fee stays clear and the money really lands when you say it will — speed creators can see is the whole promise.
