Top 100 channels drive over half of viewing on CHZZK and SOOP — just 17% on Twitch

Streams Charts' Q3 2026 analysis shows how differently platforms depend on their biggest channels, with Twitch viewing spread far beyond its top names.

How much does a platform lean on its stars? Streams Charts analysed Q3 2026 viewing across five platforms, grouping channels from the top 10 down to the long tail beyond the top 1,000, and the spread was wide.

On South Korea's CHZZK and SOOP Korea, the 100 most-watched channels generated more than half of all Hours Watched. Twitch sat at the other end: its top 100 generated just 17%, its top 10 only 4.8%, and almost 60% of viewing came from outside the top 1,000, across roughly 5.8 million channels that drew watch time in the quarter.

Kick fell in between. Its top 10 took 11% of viewing and its top 1,000 took 59.2%, compared with 40.2% on Twitch and 80.4% on CHZZK. Streams Charts also notes Kick's total Hours Watched grew 19.4% year over year, with the long tail accounting for about 63% of that increase — a reminder, for creators and brands alike, that concentration alone does not tell you where the next audience is.
