Livestreaming hits a record 31.7 billion hours in Q3 as TikTok LIVE closes on YouTube
Streams Charts data reported by NetInfluencer shows a record quarter overall, with TikTok LIVE at a record 33.5% share and Kick growing fastest among the major platforms.

Global livestreaming reached 31.7 billion Hours Watched in the third quarter of 2026, the highest quarterly total on record, according to a Streams Charts report covered by NetInfluencer. The headline increase was modest, up 0.8% quarter over quarter, but the shift underneath it was not: the audience is spreading across more homes.
YouTube remained the largest platform, yet its share of the tracked market fell from 49.5% in the second quarter to 43%, as its total dropped 13.7% to 13.62 billion hours. TikTok LIVE grew 19% to a record 10.6 billion hours and a record 33.5% share, narrowing the gap with YouTube to fewer than ten percentage points, down from roughly 16.
Kick grew faster than any other major platform tracked, rising 30.7% to a record 2.04 billion hours and a 6.4% share, its third consecutive quarter of growth. Twitch grew 4% to 4.51 billion hours, its strongest result since the second quarter of 2025. For creators and models choosing where to build, the lesson is practical: no single platform now holds the live audience the way it once did.
